Why do I move? For challenge, health, enjoyment, self-expression, social interaction? These are the five strands of Standard 5, which focuses on helping students recognize the unlimited reasons to live a physically active, healthy life. To reach standard 5, students must believe they are competent movers; competent enough to personally enjoy physical activity. This playful movement-based session is designed to show you how guided improvisation and simple choreography can lead to success with standard 5, as well as standards 1 and 2.
