What do you get when you merge physical education, health education, healthy behavior outcomes and games? Kids who understand that their personal health choices affect their energy today and health tomorrow! During this interactive session, participants will learn how to tap into students’ innate desire to play with games that develop skills leading to healthy choices beyond your gym. Session is targeted to K-5 physical education and health educators.
 
Learning objectives:
1. Participate in interactive games that develop the knowledge and skills associated with healthy choices to motivate mood, recharge energy, choose healthy foods, and move throughout the day.
2. Enhance skill development detailed in the National Health Education Standards.
3. Enhance skill development detailed in the National Physical Education Standards.
