Tobacco 101 is a seven-lesson guide created by the Association for Nonsmokers-MN, with funding from ClearWay Minnesota. The guide contains multimedia and interactive lessons, offered free of charge, for use by teachers, prevention professionals and youth group leaders in training young people about tobacco and showing how their voice can create a healthier community. Lessons include instructions, discussion topics, hands-on activities, videos, community surveys and guidance to create policy change. The guide is a fun, interactive tool to develop young tobacco prevention advocates.

This session will provide an overview of the guide and give attendees the tools they need to implement the curriculum in their own classroom.
