Randy teaches K-5 physical education at Liberty Ridge Elementary School in Woodbury, MN, an eastern suburb of St. Paul. He will be starting his 10th year of teaching this Fall in the South Washington County school district. He holds degrees from Winona State University in Health, Physical Education, and DAPE, and is currently finishing his Masters degree in Differentiated Instruction from the University of Concordia-St. Paul. His physical education passion and philosophies revolve around the creation of highly engaging and consistently evolving activities that implement technology on a daily basis. His designed activity models hit multiple standards, yield high levels of movement, and reinforce positive social and emotional interactions between students during their 30 minute class period.
